Anyone who knows me knows that I basically have a chubby girl living inside of me who is at all times trying to break free and take over my body. I do my best to keep her in check but I love food so much and eating is one of my favorite parts of traveling so she often comes out to play when I’m in new cities. On a recent trip to Washington, D.C. I made it a point to enjoy myself after a rather grueling meeting, I thought I really earned a weekend of guilt-free pigging out. While we visited a few fancy restaurants (ahem, pricey), I also found so many excellent gems that were what the locals considered Must-Eats, while being super affordable.
